1. Data Controller

Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S operates a holiday centre with accommodation and a restaurant and a wide range of recreational offers for our guests, as well as the social pedagogical unit “Delfinen” and related single-person project (s).

Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S is hereinafter referred to as “Feriecenter Slettestrand” or “We”/“Our”.

We carry out all processing of personal data in accordance with applicable law.

**2.How do we store and who has access to your data? **

We take as good care of your personal data as we possibly can. We have three groups of data. All access is controlled with personal user names and passwords and only relevant employees have access to the relevant groups of data.

We back up our data daily via our IT system suppliers with whom data processing agreements have been drawn up.

2.1 Data on guests

Data about our guests is stored in our booking system. Here, staff at the reception, restaurant and kitchen have access via personal username and password.

2.2 Personnel data

Personnel data is stored in a physically secured archive in paper form and on a secured file drive with director-level access and bookkeeping.

In addition, data is stored in payroll system as well as our ERP/bookkeeping. Only our bookkeepers have access to this.

2.3 Data on social pedagogical activities

Data relating to our social pedagogical activities (Dolfinen and any individual project (s)) are stored exclusively in a system developed and secured for this purpose.

**3. How do we collect personal data? **

Feriecenter Slettestrand collects personal data in the following ways:

  • When you choose to purchase and/or request one of Feriecenter Slettestrand's services.
  • From people, associations or companies that enquire, book or act on your behalf.
  • Via browser cookies.
  • When you subscribe to our newsletters.
  • From social media and public records.
  • Via TV monitoring.

The collection and processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the law at any time.

Television surveillance is designed as a safety measure for employees and guests.

**4. What information do we collect? **

Feriecenter Slettestrand collects the following personal data:

  • Purchase history.
  • Feedback via our customer surveys, social media and other digital platforms.
  • Information about your association, your place of residence, your company and relevant contact persons.

In addition to receiving information from you, in some cases we will supplement our information with general personal data as well as sensitive personal data that we have received from third parties, such as a group manager, manager, educator, etc. In this case, it is incumbent on the third party to inform you of our applicable privacy policy and obtain the required consents.

**5. What is the purpose of the collection and on what legal basis? **

We only collect personal data for the following purposes:

  • To be able to make reservations, send offers and invoicing.
  • To be able to give you the best possible experience during your stay.
  • To be able to send you targeted and relevant information about our news and offers.
  • Compliance with legal requirements.
  • Analysis of user behavior in order to create the best possible experience of our website.

Feriecenter Slettestrand may process your general personal data because it is necessary in accordance with the description of the purpose of the collection. Sensitive personal data will be recorded and processed solely in order to meet your necessary needs during your stay. We only collect data for a specific purpose.

**6. What are your rights? **

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights.

The rights are as follows:

  • You have the right to gain insight into what personal data we process about you.
  • You have the right to have the personal data we have registered about you corrected and updated.
  • You have the right to delete the personal data we have registered about you. If you wish to have your personal data deleted, we will delete all information that we are not required by law to store.
  • If you wish to exercise your rights or if you have other questions regarding our personal data policy, please contact the controller in writing (see section 1).

7. If you apply for a job with us

When you apply for a job with us, we process the information that you have provided in connection with your application.

This will typically involve general personal data such as name, address, telephone number and email address, information about educational background and information about current and previous employment. We use the information to assess whether we want to offer employment and communicate with you.

Only relevant managers and the accounting department have access to your information.

Applications from all candidates are deleted immediately after rejection/hiring.

8. Cookies

We use cookies on our website: slettestrand.dk. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your device and enables us to identify it and your behaviour on our websites. It helps us to improve the pages and gain a better insight into what is relevant and less relevant to our guests. We can also see if you are accessing from a mobile phone or a computer and thus we can improve the content displayed and the way it is displayed.
